Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group (AFG) is recruiting an M/E Engineer 2 for mechanical, electrical and field construction activities. You will collect data, help develop estimates, and assist in bid analysis to support project delivery.

The role emphasizes learning budgeting for M/E systems, coordinating with teams, and ensuring quality through inspections and reports. Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2+ years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Intermediate).
• Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and specifications.
• Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally.
• Knowledge of means and methods of construction management.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine mechanical, electrical and field construction activities.
• Learns and develops budgetary M/E estimates from program data.
• Assists in bid analysis and subcontractor selection.
• Develops sequencing requirements for systems to meet schedules.
• Performs site inspections and submits reports to the project team.
