Job summary

CareOne in East Brunswick, NJ is hiring a MDS/Clinical Reimbursement Coordinator to guide the resident assessment process, assist with completing the MDS and CAA forms, and help develop resident Care Plans.

The ideal candidate holds RN licensure in New Jersey with PPS/OBRA experience, can work independently, and is detail oriented to meet regulatory requirements. Compensation offered is $45-$50 per hour with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice and experience in PPS and OBRA assessments.
• Previous hospital, long-term facility, or other healthcare related facility experience.
• Knowledge of general, rehabilitative and restorative nursing and medical practices and regulations governing long-term care.
• Computer skills – Windows applications, Accu Med experience preferred.
• Previous experience in completing MDS and Care Plans is required.
• 1–3 years of MDS experience or RN with LTC experience that can be trained in an assessment role.
• Can work independently.
• Flexible with schedule for month end close.
• Detail oriented and able to accurately and timely complete assessments.
