Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time MDS Nurse to lead nursing activities and coordinate resident assessments. The RN will plan, assess, and direct care for residents, ensuring high quality life outcomes and adherence to care standards.

The role includes on-call rotation and collaboration with an inter-disciplinary team to maintain care plans and evaluate resident progress.

Qualifications

• NLN/AACN accredited nursing program preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one-year experience with senior population preferred.
• RAC-CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate nursing staff engaged in resident care.
• Lead Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes and assessments.
• Coordinate care with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary teams.
• Act as charge nurse and delegate tasks to staff as appropriate.
• Ensure care delivery complies with the Nurse Practice Act and standards.
