Job summary

Good Samaritan in Brainerd, MN is seeking a part-time MDS Nurse to lead the nursing staff in planning and evaluating resident care. The role involves coordinating the RAI process and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible quality of life for residents.

Responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date care plans, assessing residents, and providing individualized nursing care within the full scope of practice.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where practice occurs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience working with seniors preferred.
• RAC-CT certification or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing staff in planning and implementing resident care plans.
• Evaluate care and keep plans current for each resident.
• Coordinate Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) processes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality of life for residents.
