Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking a Regional Director of Clinical Reimbursement (MDS) to lead the MDS and clinical reimbursement function across a portfolio of skilled nursing facilities. This regional leadership role drives PDPM optimization, case mix, and audit readiness while shaping reimbursement strategy across the region.

You will coach MDS coordinators, standardize assessment processes, and partner with clinical and finance leadership to improve reimbursement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license or current licensure.
• Several years of MDS 3.0 and RAI experience in skilled nursing.
• Deep knowledge of PDPM, case mix and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement.
• Experience training and auditing building-level MDS coordinators.
• Willing to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Lead MDS accuracy, PDPM optimization and case mix across the region.
• Audit assessments and documentation for accuracy and reimbursement support.
• Train, mentor and standardize building level MDS coordinators.
• Support triple check, denials and audit readiness.
• Partner with clinical and finance leadership on reimbursement outcomes.
