Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN or LVN license.
• Minimum of two years health care experience.
• Competency with standard office software applications.
• Ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and coordinate MDS/RAI process.
• Complete RIHS MDS/RUGs AIS training within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) and MDS processes for timely completion.
• Ensure Medicare/Medicaid case-mix documents are accurate for reimbursement.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and manage care plans.
• Maintain an accurate schedule of all MDS assessments with ARD references.
• Audit MDS process data and ensure compliance with CMS/RIHS policies.
