Job summary

Signature HealthCARE of Chapel Hill is seeking an experienced MDS nurse to provide coverage for open positions across our clinical centers. This role emphasizes detailed resident assessments, RAI proficiency, PPS and Medicare guidelines, and collaboration with clinical teams to support quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold current RN or LPN licensure and have a minimum of three years MDS experience in long-term care, plus willingness to travel up to 100% with overnight stays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have MDS experience in a long-term care setting.
• Current RN or LPN licensure with ability to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Must be willing to travel up to 100% with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Provide MDS coverage for open positions and educate on RAI, PPS, QM, Medicaid/Medicare guidelines.
• Collaborate with Clinical Reimbursement Specialist for onboarding of new MDSC.
• Exhibit competency in RAI, Care Planning, PPS, Medicare, and Medicaid Case Mix as applicable.
