Job summary

Steelville Care and Rehab seeks a compassionate MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN) in Missouri to oversee MDS, RAI processes, and documentation for residents. You will collaborate with the Nursing Director to ensure timely assessments and accurate coding, while training staff and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role offers full-time hours, a $10,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants, PTO accrual, and a comprehensive benefits package including retirement and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• MDS experience preferred; we will train capable candidates to grow their skills.
• RN or LPN with a current, active Missouri license.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Understand RAI process and related Federal/State regulations.
• Coordinate MDS/Case Mix coding with referrals and Medicaid eligibility when applicable.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to ensure timely nursing documentation and risk assessments.
• Manage the MDS department and ARD scheduling.
• Provide staff training on RAI processes and documentation.
