Job summary

Spring Valley Health & Rehabilitation Center in Missouri seeks a qualified MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN) to manage the RAI process, ensure accurate MDS coding, and support quality and reimbursement reporting across the facility.

You will train staff, collaborate with the nursing leadership, and ensure OBRA, Medicare PPS, and state requirements are met, while maintaining resident focused care and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with active Missouri license.
• Experience with MDS/RAI processes and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communication and staff training abilities.
• Knowledge of OBRA, Medicare PPS, and Medicaid requirements.
• Proficient with EMR and coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the RAI process and MDS coding across residents.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to ensure timely documentation.
• Train staff on ADL documentation and MDS requirements.
• Participate in quality, reimbursement, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with OBRA, CMS, and state regulations.
• Monitor and update MDS plans of care with IDT.
