Job summary

Thomson Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified RN to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the Nursing Department. The role requires MDS 3.0 certification and PDPM experience to maintain high-quality resident care.

The position includes coordinating resident assessments, contributing to audits, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license and MDS 3.0 Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with PDPM Patient Driven Payment Model.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities to coordinate nursing services.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing and directing day-to-day Nursing Department operations.
• Coordinate resident assessments (MDS) in accordance with current regulations and guidelines.
• Participate in facility surveys and ensure compliance with Nursing Service procedures.
• Perform administrative duties including forms, reports, evaluations, and charting.
• Maintain quality resident care by monitoring QM’s and participating in audits.
• Attend and participate in related committees and Medicare meetings.
• Provide direct nursing care as needed and ensure proper documentation of care.
