Steelville Care and Rehab seeks an experienced MDS Coordinator (RN or LPN) to manage the RAI/MDS process, ensure timely coding, and collaborate with the nursing leadership to maintain regulatory compliance. You will train staff on ADL documentation, participate in quality improvement, and oversee data reporting for Medicaid/quality measures.

The role requires a nursing degree, Missouri license, and strong knowledge of MDS/RAI regulations.

Competenze

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active Missouri license (RN or LPN).
• Experience with MDS/RAI processes preferred; willing to educate and grow candidate.
• Proficient in nursing documentation, HIPAA compliant, and able to work with interdisciplinary team.

Mansioni

• Oversee RAI/MDS process and ensure timely, accurate coding per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing to obtain necessary information for MDS/Case Mix.
• Lead training for staff on RAI, ADL documentation, and documentation guidelines.
• Review quarterly Medicaid reports and ensure compliance and quality measures.
• Maintain proficiency in MDS software, regulatory changes, and data transmission.
