Job summary

Regency at Lansing West is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to remain clinically involved in patient care as an MDS Nurse. You will manage MDSs, PPS and care plans with autonomy, coordinating with physicians, nursing and therapy teams to optimize resident care.

Qualifications

• RN licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Experience with MDS and PPS processes preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Completes the MDS, CAA's and care plans within regulated time frames.
• Assesses resident through physical assessment, interview and chart review.
• Discusses resident care needs with care givers and physicians.
• Reviews hospital and outside information for assessments and planning.
• Coordinates, identifies, and initiates significant changes in MDS.
• Conducts PPS meetings and monitors Medicare days and RUGs.
• Maintains current knowledge of AANAC requirements.
