Job summary

Ginger Cove in Annapolis, MD seeks an experienced RN to join our clinical leadership team as MDS Coordinator. If you excel in clinical documentation, quality improvement, care planning, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, this daytime role offers meaningful impact.

This full-time position features a Monday–Friday day schedule (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), minimal bedside duties, a supportive nonprofit senior living community, opportunities for annual bonuses, and growth through QAPI

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maryland required.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR).
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.
• MDS experience required.
• Strong knowledge of MDS regulations and submission process.
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete all MDS assessments and resident care plans.
• Ensure timely, accurate documentation and regulatory compliance.
• Lead interdisciplinary care plan meetings with residents and families.
• Monitor CMS Quality Measures and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services, and rehabilitation teams.
• Support Medicare reimbursement accuracy through complete documentation.
• Participate in QAPI initiatives and survey readiness.
• Assist with policy development, clinical documentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.

We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our clinical leadership team as our next MDS Coordinator.
