AVIR Health Group is seeking a qualified MDS Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate is a licensed nurse who can lead a high-performing team and manage the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process for each resident, including transmission and verification with the State.

This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations while supporting a family-centered care approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Nurse License.
• Valid CPR Certification.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or other related healthcare program.
• Knowledge of long-term care operational standards as set forth in the Federal Register, Conditions of Participation and State regulations.

Responsibilities

• Complete the RAI process for each resident as required by state and federal regulations.
• Transmit and verify receipt by the State.
