Overview

The ideal MDS candidate is detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and actively involved in bedside resident assessments and family meetings.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Complete the MDS by collecting information from medical records, bedside assessments, and staff, resident, and family interviews.
• Participate in daily PPS meetings, weekly Medicare meetings, and month-end meetings to ensure federal billing requirements are met.
• Review the Plan of Care quarterly and with each comprehensive assessment to incorporate any changes.

What You Need to Make a Difference

• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse with current state licensure.
• At least three (3) years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting; long-term care experience preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year of MDS experience.
