Allaire Health Services is seeking an MDS Coordinator to join our team in a role that blends clinical leadership with EMR proficiency. You will oversee MDS processes, coordinate care plans, and mentor nursing staff to ensure accurate documentation and resident care.

The position emphasizes strong managerial and communication skills, with responsibilities spanning training, care plan updates, and collaboration with residents, families, and DON staff.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of nursing services and MDS.
• Familiar with the MDS and its computer application (EMR).
• Strong managerial, organizational, and interpersonal abilities to plan and update care plans.

Responsibilities

• Must have working knowledge of nursing services, nursing administration, rehabilitation, general nursing, geriatric nursing, the MDS, and its computer application (EMR).
• Must have good managerial, organizational, plannings, computer, and interpersonal ability to initiate, complete and update care plans.
• Ability to conduct in-service training of nursing staff on care plans, documentation, and EMR application.
• Ability to monitor resident EMR records for consistency and content.
• Ability to identify problems and to communicate those problems to the DON and staff concerned
• Be personable with residents, families, and staff in a professional and cooperative manner
