Job summary

Ontic Engineering and Manufacturing, Inc. seeks a Master Data Management Specialist to own the MDM operating model and govern multiple data domains, including Customer, Product, Platform and Supplier.

You will collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, IT, and partners to continuously improve the Semarchy xDM platform and related processes. The role combines governance with hands-on administration for Semarchy xDM, backlog management, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience operating an enterprise Master Data Management or data-governance capability.
• Practical experience with MDM tools and frameworks; ability to explain data governance concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills with Data Owners and Data Stewards.
• Experience supporting API-based and system-to-system integrations and diagnosing issues.
• Experience gathering requirements, prioritizing improvements, and coordinating testing for changes to enterprise platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Semarchy xDM is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate Ontic’s MDM operating model across multiple domains.
• Engage Data Owners and Data Stewards; facilitate governance forums and reviews.
• Act as business product owner for Semarchy xDM; manage backlog and user acceptance testing.
• Perform light admin/configuration of Semarchy xDM; coordinate with IT for larger changes.
• Monitor health of MDM capability; troubleshoot data and integration issues.
