Job summary

Cadmus Group LLC is seeking a Product Owner to drive the Master Data Management strategy for critical data assets and partner with business and technology teams. You will shape the product vision, define features, and govern data assets to improve quality and trust.

You will lead agile delivery, manage backlogs, and collaborate with data stewards and developers to deliver scalable MDM solutions in a fast-paced environment. U.S. work eligibility required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Agile Delivery or Product Owner roles
• 5+ years of data-related experience with a focus on master data management, data delivery, or data governance disciplines
• Experience with MDM concepts including golden record creation, match/merge/survivorship rules, data stewardship, hierarchy management, and reference data management
• Experience delivering large, complex change management projects involving data governance frameworks and master data standardization
• Strong hands-on data analysis skills: data profiling, data quality assessment, data mapping, querying, and duplicate identification
• Experience working in an Agile team and with agile-related tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in data quality root cause analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to present to management and facilitate meetings with data stewards and technical teams
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases and MDM architectures (registry, consolidation, coexistence, centralized)

Responsibilities

• Set ambitious and clear product vision for MDM capabilities and communicate the strategy to stakeholders and the team
• Own the end-to-end MDM product strategy from inception, defining business value through improved data quality, reduced redundancy, and trusted data assets
• Ensure alignment of MDM features and stories with the roadmap and prioritize user stories accordingly
• Continuously improve the backlog with the team, detailing and prioritizing data matching, merging, survivorship rules, and data stewardship workflows
• Ensure customer-driven design considering data consumer pain points, data quality metrics, and usability feedback to deliver well-positioned MDM solutions
• Define and refine master data domains (e.g., counterparty, property) and governance models
• Drive sprint and release plans with the Scrum Coach and technology teams; work with Development Lead on modular MDM solutions
• Define and monitor data quality KPIs, stewardship SLAs, and master data health metrics to drive improvement
