Job summary

Veeva Systems, Inc. is seeking a Consultant, Network MDM, to deliver ongoing administration and strategic advisory for customers live with Veeva Network.

You will serve as the Network Expert across multiple client portfolios, ensuring an optimized, healthy MDM ecosystem in a remote, full-time capacity. The role emphasizes governance, data quality, and best-practice configurations, with opportunities to influence stakeholders and contribute to product-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience specifically within Master Data Management (MDM) or Life Sciences Data Operations.
• Master Data Management experience.
• Hands-on experience with Veeva Network or Veeva CRM (or comparable MDM platforms).
• Experience in a customer-facing role, demonstrating consulting acumen and the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Ability to work remotely and independently in support of multiple clients while maintaining an 80% billable utilization target.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Advisory: Serve as the primary SME for Veeva Network, aligning system capabilities with business requirements and regulations.
• Environmental Governance: Manage the Network-CRM interface and validate Data Change Requests.
• System Optimization: Own long-term performance and proactively identify technical debt.
• Best Practice Guidance: Recommend configurations for match/merge logic and survivorship rules.
• Process Evolution: Help customers refine data governance to maximize Veeva value post-go-live.
• Configuration Enhancements: Execute technical tasks in the customer environment including data model updates.
• Client interactions: Set expectations and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Issue triage: Troubleshoot data, configuration, or performance issues.
• AI-Enabled Efficiency: Use approved AI tools to accelerate documentation and data insights.
• Internal contributions: Share knowledge and help develop best practices.
• Uphold Veeva Vision and Values: Do the Right Thing and Customer Success.
