Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Des Moines, IA seeks a Mass Tort Litigation Attorney to manage complex matters, draft pleadings, oversee discovery, and support trial preparation. The role offers leadership opportunities in coordinated proceedings.

You will mentor paralegals, coordinate with counsel, and guide litigation strategy across MDL matters. Strong knowledge of civil procedure, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• JD required and bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• Experience with mass tort or complex litigation preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in teams with professional judgment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute litigation strategy for mass tort matters.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings and substantive motions.
• Ensure compliance with case management and scheduling orders.
• Monitor and implement developments in MDL/coordinated proceedings.
• Provide direction to paralegals and case managers on litigation tasks.
• Identify and develop liability and damages proof.
• Assess and recommend venue and jurisdiction for filing.
• Support settlement and resolution efforts.
