Hope For Youth has been awarded a contract to provide Prevention Services to Nassau County. The Nassau Prevention Program is a program of time-limited, family-oriented, supportive and rehabilitative child welfare services, which are provided to children and their families for the purposes of: Averting a disruption of a family that will or could result in the imminent placement of a child in foster care and enabling a child who has been placed in foster care to return to his/her family at an earlier time other than would otherwise be possible and reducing the likelihood that a child who has been discharged from foster care would return to such care.
