Job summary

FTI Consulting is seeking a Managing Director in our People & Transformation practice to lead change management, leader enablement, and employee engagement across multi-disciplinary teams supporting integration and transformation.

This senior strategist will work directly with C-suite, build programs aligned with client culture and goals, and navigate fast-paced environments while mentoring staff and managing budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10 years of experience in communications and leading large transformations.
• Prosci or similar change management certification (preferred).
• Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to clients at the seniormost levels of an organization, providing strong, experienced-based counsel while also remaining adaptable to alternative approaches and points of view.
• Proven project management skills and the ability to proactively manage a client relationship in ways that achieve client goals and ensure all deadlines are met.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day client mandates across multiple accounts.
• Develop and implement change management and communication strategies.
• Manage budgets and billing, and track program KPIs.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Grow the practice and develop new offerings.
