Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Managing Director of Institutional Fixed Income Sales to lead client coverage across agencies, CMOs, non-agency securities, and CLOs. The role focuses on deepening relationships, generating revenue, and delivering market insight with cross-functional execution support.

The candidate will supervise senior and junior staff, coordinate with trading, syndicate, and product teams, and drive strategy while ensuring compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 12+ years experience leading and executing traded products in Capital Markets.
• FINRA Series 7, 63 licenses.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagement and idea generation across Fixed Income accounts.
• Lead relationship coverage and contribute to origination and revenue generation.
• Direct client-facing materials, including market updates, trade ideas, portfolio reviews, and presentations.
• Monitor market trends, issuance activity, and investor demand to inform strategy.
• Serve as a senior product expert across fixed income sectors and coordinate with trading and syndicate partners.
• Mentor and develop junior colleagues while reinforcing a culture of excellence.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver solutions and optimize profitability.
• Contribute to sales strategy, compliance standards, and desk procedures.
• Prepare management reporting on pipeline activity, client trends, and market developments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
