Job summary

GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. in the Western United States seeks a Field Application Engineer focused on MCUs to support customers evaluating, designing, and deploying our MCU portfolio.

You will collaborate with regional sales and reps to drive design-ins and design-wins across automotive, industrial, consumer, and IoT markets. The role centers on MCUs and requires 5+ years of MCU experience, strong C/C++ programming, RTOS familiarity, and willingness to travel across the Western U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years direct MCU experience required.
• Arm Cortex-M familiarity preferred; RISC-V knowledge a plus.
• Strong embedded programming in C/C++ and RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface for MCU products in the Western U.S. region.
• Support customers in evaluating, designing, and debugging MCU-based solutions.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including design reviews and code optimization.
