Job summary

Dallas Retirement Village in Dallas, OR is seeking compassionate Memory Care Caregivers to support residents with daily living activities in a safe, respectful environment.

As a caregiver, you will help residents maintain comfort and dignity while building meaningful relationships. The role requires English communication, CPR/food handler certifications, and a customer-service mindset for a long-term position.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiver experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Current CPR certification or ability to obtain with facility assistance.
• Current Food Handlers certification or ability to obtain with facility assistance.
• Must read, understand and write in English for documentation.
• Must interact tactfully with staff, residents, families, visitors and the public.
• Strong customer service and hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: What You’ll Do

Caregivers assist in the personal care of Assisted Living and Memory Care residents, in accordance with state regulations and facility policies and procedures.

What You Bring

• Previous experience working as a caregiver and/or with the geriatric population is preferred
• Must possess a current CPR certification or be willing to obtain one with assistance from the facility
• Must possess a current Food Handlers certification or be willing to obtain one with assistance from the facility
• Must be able to read, understand and write in English to perform documentation each shift
• Must interact tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government staff and the general public.
• Must be highly customer service oriented and dedicated to providing superior hospitality and service to our residents.
