Job summary

Auria in Colorado Springs seeks an SE&V Lead System Engineer to lead a regional SE team, oversee verification activities, and drive model-based systems engineering for the C2BMC program onsite.

You will decompose high-level needs into traceable requirements, shape the system architecture with SysML, manage interfaces, and work with customers and leadership to deliver validated solutions that meet warfighter intentions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in systems engineering.
• MBSE experience with SysML/UML modeling and requirements decomposition.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with regional C2BMC implementations and DoD MBSE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead & mentor a regional SE team and engineers while executing core engineering tasks, including verification.
• Lead the systematic breakdown of high-level needs into traceable requirements linked to architectural elements.
• Develop and maintain a model-based system architecture using SysML diagrams and align with DoDAF/UAF standards.
• Generate model-derived test cases; verify requirement satisfaction and close the verification loop.
• Produce and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and Interface Requirement Specifications (IRS).
• Engage with customers to derive requirements, architecture, and interfaces; deliver technical briefings and traceability matrices.
