Job summary

Auria is seeking a Networks Systems Engineer III to support the Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications program. This on-site role in Colorado Springs, CO requires MBSE experience, SE process knowledge, and security credentials.

You will lead networks requirements, develop RTVM, interface with the NES ART and SEIT teams, and contribute to system artifacts and proposals while mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or other STEM field from an accredited college.
• 3+ years of related experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
• IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
• Active Secret Security Clearance.
• US Citizenship and have/maintain a valid US passport.
• In-depth understanding of systems engineering process and principles.
• Proven track record of applying system engineering principles to develop product solutions.
• Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers to develop solutions.
• Experience in MBSE and MBSE tools

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Network Systems Engineer SME on the NES ART and develop the Network Systems Engineering Plan.
• Advise on all systems engineering-related issues and align processes across ART and SEIT RMAs.
• Lead networks requirements activities and manage the requirements baseline.
• Develop and maintain the RTVM and allocation of system/sub-system requirements for traceability.
• Interface between NES ART and C2BMC SEIT team to ensure consistency of SE principles.
• Support development and review of system engineering artifacts and perform engineering reviews.
• Develop interface documentation, diagrams, and architectural documentation.
• Establish and maintain the Networks Systems Engineering model and baselined MCNIS material.
• Contribute to proposal efforts and engineering estimates; mentor team members in standardizing SE processes.
