Job summary

APEX TK is seeking a Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to support the MDA Targets and Countermeasures program. You will apply systems engineering within a digital engineering framework to create, analyze, and maintain SysML models.

Responsibilities include traceability of requirements, interface analysis, and preparation of artifacts for SRR, PDR, CDR, and CCB milestones. Collaborate with government leads, prime contractors, and cross-functional teams to ensure baseline integrity and data

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years supporting missile defense or large-scale, complex DoD programs.
• Proficiency with SysML and core frameworks (DoDAF, UAF).
• Hands-on MBSE tools: Cameo Systems Modeler / Cameo Enterprise Architect, MagicDraw, Sparx EA.
• Ability to distill complex architectures into clear diagrams and docs.

Responsibilities

• System Modeling & Architecture: Develop and maintain SysML models capturing behavior, structure, interfaces, and requirements across MDA programs.
• Requirements Traceability: Map requirements to artifacts ensuring end-to-end traceability and baseline integrity.
• Digital Engineering Integration: Link MBSE models with simulations, data repositories, and external tools.
• Technical Baseline Reviews: Prepare model-centric artifacts for SRR, PDR, CDR, and CCB milestones.
• Interface & Trade Studies: Analyze interfaces and perform architectural trade studies to resolve integration risks.
• Configuration & Data Management: Maintain version control and baselining for SysML models.
