Job summary

Columbia University’s Columbia Business School seeks an Assistant Director, Recruitment and Yield to drive recruitment and yield initiatives for full-time MBA programs. You’ll coordinate events, manage communications through Slate, and liaise with student leaders while supporting applicants from inquiry to matriculation.

You will evaluate applications, conduct interviews, and contribute to a high-caliber, diverse student body. Hybrid work and travel for outreach are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years' related experience.
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, diplomacy, tact, and discretion with relationships.
• Knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with Slate/CRM a plus.
• Willing to travel and work select evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support recruitment and yield activities for full-time and early career programs.
• Represent CBS at on-campus, off-campus, and virtual events.
• Implement communications strategy in Slate to prospective and admitted students.
• Liaise with the Hermes Society and student leaders as representatives of Admissions.
• Read and evaluate applications, provide feedback, and recommendations.
• Travel domestically/internationally to support recruitment and outreach.
