Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Training Associate to support onboarding and ongoing employee development on the production floor. The role reports to the Human Resources Generalist and collaborates with plant leadership to deliver structured training programs and maintain training area standards.

Responsibilities include preparing daily training activities, guiding new employees toward skill development and safety objectives, and assisting with hiring events and employee engagement

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating training and onboarding.
• Ability to coordinate training on production floors and across facility.
• Familiarity with security, 6S, inventory accuracy, and onboarding processes.

Job Description:

Organizational Relationship: This position reports directly to the Human Resources Generalist

Description of Duties:

• Help Trainer prepare daily activities for new hires
• Help train new hires on the production floor training line and throughout the facility
• Act as back-up for New Hire Orientation (NEO) facilitator
• Responsible for security, cleanliness, and 6S organization of training area(s) and maintaining inventory accuracy
• Lead new employees to ensure skills development and safety objectives are achieved
• Motivate new employees to perform their best and familiarize them with MasterBrand practices, organizational culture, processes, and policies
• Effectively partner with plant leadership and other HR staff to anticipate and respond to training and staffing needs
• Assist with hiring events and employee engagement activities
• Participates in physical inventory
• Occasionally work overtime and weekends
• Other duties as assigned
