Job summary

Leidos is seeking a MAS Technical Engineer to provide architecture leadership and hands-on MAS implementation for NASA enterprise operations. You will drive installation, upgrades, and secure API integration while working with cross-functional teams across environments.

You will script automation in Python/XML/JavaScript/JSON, configure MAS with MAF, and manage user sync with Entra ID. Strong Linux and OpenShift expertise is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting, MIF, and REST API integrations.
• Extensive BIRT reporting and Power BI with data modeling.
• Linux OS proficiency with scripting, operations, and performance tuning.
• MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• OpenShift containerization for MAS deployments.
• SSO and MAF configuration for MAS.
• Automation scripting using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Experience with secure API management and authentication frameworks.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience using Jira Service Management or similar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project information to executives and teams.
• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Lead technical design of enterprise integration architecture for NASA systems.
• Lead implementation and configuration of secure API management and authentication standards.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Develop and maintain complex MAS configurations across environments.
• Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO implementations.
• Create MAS configurations with MAF Configuration app.
• Manage and support MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Use Jira Service Management to track issues and requests.
