Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Maximo Application Suite (MAS) Technical Engineer to lead MAS installation, configuration, and integration efforts for NASA Enterprise systems. The role requires 8+ years of Maximo experience, Linux proficiency, and strong API and BI capabilities.

You will design enterprise integration architecture, implement secure API management, and develop automation scripts. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure scalable, reliable MAS deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in IBM Maximo architecture, MIF, REST API integrations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Microsoft Power BI.
• Linux operating systems with scripting, performance management.
• MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• OpenShift container platform knowledge and MAS deployments.
• MAS MAF configuration, SSO solutions, and user synchronization.
• Automation scripting using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Familiarity with secure API management and authentication frameworks.
• Strong communication with cross-functional teams.
• Experience using Jira Service Management or similar.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project information to leadership and center teams.
• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Design enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise systems.
• Implement secure API management and authentication standards.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring for integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Create MAS configurations across environments.
• Configure and support MAS Mobile with SSO.
• Manage MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Track issues and requests using Jira Service Management.
