Job summary

Leidos Inc. is seeking a highly skilled MAS Technical Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of the Maximo Application Suite for NASA Enterprise operations. You will drive API integration, security, and automation across multi-environment deployments.

The role demands deep Maximo architecture knowledge, Linux proficiency, and experience with OpenShift, MIF, and BI reporting tools like Power BI. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting, the MIF, and REST API integrations.
• Hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Power BI, including data modeling.
• Strong Linux knowledge, scripting, and performance management.
• MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• Experience with OpenShift and enterprise MAS deployments.
• Knowledge of MAS licensing, user sync, and large-scale deployments.
• Familiarity with MAS security, SSO, and MAF configuration.
• Experience building automation scripts in Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Experience with Jira Service Management or similar ticketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project information to executive and center teams.
• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Design enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise systems.
• Implement secure API management and authentication standards.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring for integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Develop and maintain MAS configurations across environments.
• Configure and support MAS Mobile including SSO implementations.
• Create MAS configurations in MAf to modify MAS configurations.
• Manage MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Use Jira Service Management to track issues and service requests.
