Day & Zimmermann is seeking an Electrical Project Coordinator to join our Projects team on nuclear projects in New Jersey. Anticipated project duration Fall 2026 to Spring 2027.

The coordinator coordinates activities prior to field implementation with the project manager and engineering teams to plan and schedule a site walk with DZ Lead Supervisors. Responsibilities include risk assessment, budgetary estimates within +/-10%, scheduling with site leads, procuring parts and materials, and

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating complex projects in industrial settings.
• Ability to work with project managers and engineering teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-field activities with PM and engineering.
• Schedule site walks with DZ Lead Supervisors.
• Provide written project reviews to clients for go-ahead.
• Develop risk matrix with manager to identify concerns.
• Provide budgetary estimates with estimator within +/-10%.
• Create project schedules with site leads to plan implementation.
• Procure parts and materials; report long-lead items weekly.
• Monitor hours vs earned value and prepare close-out reports.
