Job summary

Controlled Environments Company (CEC) seeks a Maintenance, Planner, Scheduler (MPS) to optimize maintenance planning and execution for a leading multinational manufacturer in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will manage daily and long-term schedules, handle parts inventory, and utilize data-driven insights to boost asset reliability and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, or coordination within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proficiency with CMMS/EAM systems (Maximo preferred) and ERP systems (SAP MES desirable).
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and manage daily and long-term maintenance schedules using Maximo (EAM) and SAP MES (ERP).
• Adjust plans to reflect changing priorities, urgent requests, or resource availability.
• Create, validate, and prioritise work orders with labour, parts, materials, and tools.
• Lead planning and scheduling meetings with engineering, technicians, and operations managers.
• Manage spare parts and materials inventory, including procurement and vendor coordination.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, client standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Analyse maintenance performance data using BI tools to support continuous improvement.
• Submit factory impact requests and communicate upcoming maintenance work to operations.
• Support sustainability initiatives by applying energy- and waste-reducing maintenance strategies.
