Job summary

Tri-State Medical Group seeks a Dispatcher for MAVO & BLS Operations in the North Region, based in Mahwah. You will coordinate MAVO dispatch and support BLS services, ensuring efficient scheduling and real-time monitoring of trips while maintaining strong communication with drivers, facilities, and internal teams.

The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment, with office hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Prior dispatch or NEMT/EMS experience preferred.
• Ability to manage high call volume and multitask.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Office-based role with daytime hours.
• Experience with TraumaSoft or MDT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage MAVO dispatch operations and support BLS.
• Coordinate and monitor trips in real time.
• Publish driver schedules using TraumaSoft.
• Verify trip completion and documentation accuracy.
• Communicate with drivers regarding routes, delays, and assistance needs.
• Answer incoming calls, provide ETAs, and address trip-related questions.
• Monitor and correct timestamps and status updates in TraumaSoft.
• Utilize routing and scheduling tools to optimize efficiency.
• Handle rider, facility, and partner concerns and assist with resolution.
