Job summary

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP in Southfield, MI seeks an Information Governance/Records Mobility Analyst with 2+ years of experience to support our Information Governance team in the firm’s operations. This role focuses on the matter mobility process across multiple office locations.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel/Outlook/Teams/Smartsheet skills, familiarity with iManage and iCompli, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and clients while handling confidential information

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 2+ years in information governance/records administration (e.g., medical/legal records).
• Law firm experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to handle and maintain confidential information securely.
• Strong written and verbal communication; organized and detail-oriented.
• Proficient with Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Implement firm policy for the matter mobility process.
• Maintain knowledge of IG technology systems and their functionality.
• Serve as initial contact for lateral attorney arrivals.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound information for matter mobility.
• Memorialize actions in the tracking tool and DMS.
• Collaborate with legal teams and Taft departments to execute tasks.
• Train IM Specialists and legal teams on best practices for matter mobility.
• Troubleshoot technology issues related to client/firm information.
• Perform database searches and audits as needed.
• Assist with information clean-up projects.
