Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least three years of relevant administrative experience.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience in higher education may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling courses for the department with key academic leadership.
• Coordinate with staff to accommodate special program seat reservations.
• Resolve conflicts between requested courses and availability.
• Implement teaching loads and enrollment requirements.
• Oversee course inventory and FaSET updates.
• Administer Course Instructor Surveys (CIS).
• Upload final reports to departmental records.
• Manage grade reporting, input, and changes for all courses.
• Collect syllabi and faculty CVs for public viewing on UT Registrar site.
• Process Authorization to Teach Graduate Course forms and exam waivers.
• Manage waitlists during registration and manual entries when needed.
• Coordinate with student advisors and support undergraduate inquiries.
• Track data related to undergraduate programs.
• Attend CNS Dean’s Office meetings on undergraduate classes.
• Order textbooks and course materials; maintain classroom calendars.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
