Pearson is seeking a Specialist, Content Developer (Mathematics) to craft K-12 assessment content for state and district clients. You’ll act as both content and assessment expert, developing items, blueprints, and AI-enhanced assets to meet accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years teaching experience in elementary or secondary education preferred.
• Knowledge of content area and educational trends required.
• Experience with AI-supported content development preferred.
• Experience prompting and evaluating AI-generated content for education.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review content-specific test items across grade levels for large-scale assessments.
• Help develop item and test specifications, blueprints, and other documents.
• Leverage AI-powered tools to support content development and ensure accessibility.
• Collaborate to integrate AI-generated assets in assessment workflows.
• Select, assign, train item writers and educators on standards-based development.
• Facilitate customer meetings and provide content assessment expertise.
• Support test construction and review of test forms.
• Consult with customers and participate in planning and reviews.
• Work with test development managers, psychometricians, and Pearson groups.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies in content creation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
