Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps is hiring a Math Tutor to support students in Washington, DC. You will work at a local school, leading small groups, delivering proven activities, and tracking progress with an on-site coach.

Positions are for the 2026-27 school year, with both full-time and part-time options. You’ll be trained and supported to help students build math skills and confidence through daily tutoring.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a record of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient with basic computer tasks (email, online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions with groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes.
• Follow a schedule to ensure all students receive support.
• Track student progress and coordinate with the on-site coach.
• Enter student scores in data software and participate in coaching sessions.
