Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps is seeking a Math Tutor to support students at a local school in Faribault. You’ll tutor groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes each day, following a structured schedule and tracking progress with the on-site coach.

Training is provided to help you deliver proven activities and grow with the program. We offer part-time roles for 25 hours per week during the 2026-27 school year, with full-time opportunities also listed.

Qualifications

• Dependable with good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a highschool diploma or equivalent.
• A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident of the United States.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
