Job summary

Ampact's Math Corps is seeking a Math Tutor to work in local schools in Parlier, CA. You’ll tutor groups of up to 3 students for 20–30 minutes of math practice and help them return to class ready to learn, with training provided to deliver proven activities.

You’ll track student progress with an on-site coach, enter scores in data software, and commit to your own growth through coaching. Part-time positions are available (27.5 or 20 hours per week) with AmeriCorps stipend and education award

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and online navigation).
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• US citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.
• Able to successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities
