Job summary

Ampact’s Math Corps program in Georgia is seeking tutors to work with students in local schools. You will lead 20–30 minute tutoring sessions, track progress, and collaborate with an onsite coach to plan next steps.

As part of AmeriCorps, you’ll receive coaching, training, and a benefits package including health insurance and education assistance. The schedule runs weekdays with no weekends, October 2026–May 2027.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a history of good attendance.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email and navigating online).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult who's focused on helping students thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's onsite coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores into data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
