Job summary

Math Corps, powered by AmeriCorps and administered by Ampact, is seeking a Math Tutor to work at a local Georgia school. You will lead small-group tutoring sessions, help students build math skills, and receive training to deliver proven activities.

This role involves daytime on-site hours with set schedules and growth through coaching. Candidates must be reliable, fluent in English, and able to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a good attendance history.
• Able to follow instructions and improve based on feedback.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (email, basic online navigation).
• Fluent in English for speaking, reading, and writing.
• 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent; able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Be a caring adult focused on helping children thrive.
• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to ensure students receive support.
• Track student progress and meet regularly with the school's on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter student scores in data software.
• Commit to your own growth through coaching and training.
• Share your experience with the community.
