The Lawrenceville School in New Jersey invites applicants for a Mathematics Fellow position as part of the Independent School Teaching Residency (ISTR) in collaboration with PennGSE, starting June 2027. Fellows teach Algebra 1 through multivariable calculus, participate in co-curriculars, residential life, and mentoring, with comprehensive support and a pathway to a Master’s in Education.

Living on campus, fellows receive housing, meals, and access to athletic facilities, while joining a cohort

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Teach a range of courses from Algebra 1 and geometry through multivariable calculus and statistics.
• Fulfill co-curricular responsibilities and residential duties.
• Live in school housing and participate in residential life and student mentoring.
• Be paired with a mentor and participate in regular teaching observations and cohort meetings.
• Participate in campus life and collaborate with peers across boarding school networks.
