Job summary

Granite School District is seeking a Paraeducator to support students in small group mathematics instruction under the direction of the principal and teachers. This 25-hour-per-week position requires reliable attendance and collaboration with staff to promote positive student outcomes.

Responsibilities include preparing instructional materials, assisting in instruction, tutoring in small groups, and monitoring student progress.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 48 hours of college credit; Associates degree or higher; or passing score on the ParaPro exam.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of instructional materials.
• Assist in instruction and classroom activities as needed.
• May tutor students individually or in small groups.
• Assist in administering tests and monitor student progress.
• Maintain accurate data on assigned students or groups.
• Support a positive school environment and maintain confidentiality.
• Communicate effectively with students, teachers, parents, and staff.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve goals.
• Work required hours and maintain reliability.
