Job summary

Responsibilities include small-group and individualized tutoring, collaboration with staff, and maintaining progress records. Requires Ohio paraprofessional eligibility and a Diploma or higher; associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold required Ohio Department of Education and Workforce permit(s) or be eligible to obtain.
• Knowledge of Ohio's Learning Standards for Mathematics and effective mathematics instructional practices.
• Experience providing small-group or individualized mathematics instruction preferred.
• Ability to use student data to identify skill gaps and instructional needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted mathematics intervention to students identified as needing additional academic support.
• Use student data to provide individualized and small-group instruction focused on closing skill gaps and improving mathematics proficiency.
• Work with students in small groups or one-on-one to address gaps in algebra and geometry concepts.
• Collaborate with instructional staff to align tutoring with district curriculum and standards.
• Maintain records of participation, progress, and attendance as needed.
