Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a master teacher to collaborate with CMS staff in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. The role involves implementing high-quality instructional strategies aligned to standards, and often serving as the teacher of record with principal discretion.

You will support curriculum expertise and mentor teachers to improve student outcomes. The position requires a NC teaching license, a Bachelor's in Education, and at least five years of successful experience in classroom settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid NC Teaching license in content area.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.
• Minimum of five years of successful content-area teaching.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to laws, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with administration and teacher of record to implement instructional strategies.
• Coach and model effective teaching practices.
• Support PLCs and professional development.
• Develop, facilitate, and evaluate school-based professional development.
• Analyze data to inform instruction and monitor student achievement.
• Assist teachers in applying new professional learning.
• Maintain confidentiality of school district information.
• Participate in professional development activities.
