Dolton West School District 148 seeks a Math Interventionist to provide targeted math instruction for K–8 students identified as below grade level. The role includes collaboration with teachers, administrators, and support staff to design evidence-based interventions, monitor progress, and promote numeracy achievement.
Qualified candidates have a Bachelor’s in Education, a valid teaching license, and ideally a Master’s in Math or related field with a Math Specialist endorsement.

Position Classification: Certified Math Interventionist
The Math Interventionist provides targeted math instruction and support to students in grades K–8 who are identified as performing below grade level in math. The interventionist collaborates with classroom teachers, administrators, and support staff to design and implement evidence-based reading interventions, monitor student progress, and promote numeracy achievement for all learners.
To perform this job successfully, the Math Interventionist must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. This includes a high level of proficiency in written and oral communication skills. The position requires:
