Job summary

Performance Academies in Columbus is seeking a Title I Tutor - Math to provide targeted reading and math interventions for K–8 students. You will deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction and tailor lessons to meet diverse learning needs.

You will monitor progress with formative and summative assessments, collaborate with teachers and families, and help create a safe, structured, inclusive learning environment. This role includes a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Ohio teaching license or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Experience with elementary or middle school students preferred.
• Strong reading and math instruction and data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide reading and math intervention for K–8 students.
• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using the approved curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to close gaps.
• Use assessments to tailor instruction and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with teachers, admins, and families on progress.
